Gemshade The Beginning

Hello we are Sheryl, Ade, Emily and George, we are new to the world of Chinese Cresteds, we have always owned pet poochies in the past but this is a new hobby for us, we have recently started showing, and hopefully in the future will be breeding a few of our own show dogs.

Let us introduce you to our three charges, first and formost they are our family pets, totally loved and spoiled, and if they do well in the show ring thats a bonus..!

• Gixer.. Hooray for JXXR     d.o.b 26.11.04 Mahogany true hairless dog, great face, huge ears, not a lot of hair bless him..! but what he lacks in hair he makes up for in personality and enthusiasum.
• Zuki..Annamac Zuki    d.o.b 22.10.04 Sable powder Puff bitch, alias "floppy dog" sweetest temperment, prettiest face, lives somewhere out on mars to say she's laid back is an understatment.
• Millie..Crynllis Divine Diva    d.o.b 06.11.04 Mahogany & White hairy hairless bitch. Diva by name, Diva by nature, small dog BIG attitude, you dont show Millie, she shows you "UP" literally, but we're getting there...!

It was only going to be one......! yer we've all said that one haven't we, after the untimely kidnapp of our pet Chihuauas, dont worry the crime was committed by the parents, we moved house, inadequate fencing at the new house forced a supposed temporary stay with them, fence repaired, cut a long story short "we now have visitation rights" at weekends.   It was then decided that life could not be continued in a dogless world, a democratic vote was taken, Ade voted Staffie, I voted Crestie the rest is history, little did we realise just how difficult it was going to be aquiring one of these little dogs especially a bitch.  So a dog it was, Gixer joined our family, at this point i'd like to thank Linda White for letting us have him, this lady restored our faith into coming into the breed, we still keep in touch via email about Gix;s progress, and her humor is a constant sorce of amusment to us, so a deposit paid on Gixer, we get home, open our email and low and behold we have a email from Alex, Doucai Cresteds saying she has a bitch available, "if we are still interested" you've guessed it one has rapidly become two, Ade thought this was the end, but no, ive got the true hairless, ive got the hairy hairless all i need is a powder puff, Yep Zuki arrived courtesy of Annamac. Again Mega Big thanks to both Alex, Doucai & Tracey and her Mother at Annamac for the girls but also the wealth of information they gave and are still  passing on to us. If it wasnt for these four ladies giving us a start, this would be a blank page.
